Learn How Stadium House Apartments Prioritizes Green Living

Green living may seem intimidating, but a more sustainable lifestyle can start with making small changes in your daily habits. For example, five gallons of water are lost if you leave the water running while brushing your teeth. If each of us were to turn off the water every time we brush our teeth, think of how much water we could save!

Here at Stadium House, we want to do all we can to protect the environment and encourage green living—not just by saving on water, but also by reducing unnecessary waste. Here are three ways we live green at Stadium House.

We Preserve Water

Because Anaheim is prone to droughts, we do all we can to preserve water. To start, our property has drought-tolerant landscaping. This means we use plants that don’t require much water—like succulents. We have also installed a drip irrigation system and replaced some grass and mulch areas with beautiful stone, allowing us to save thousands of gallons of water!

Indoors, we save on water with our plumbing system. While the average toilet uses about 3.5 gallons of water every time they flush, our low-flow toilets use about 20 percent less water than regular toilets. This can make a big difference in water use. Each toilet can surprisingly save up to 13,000 gallons of water per year.

We Are Paperless

At Stadium House , we strive to provide quality services to help make your life as a resident a little easier. Visit our new resident portal to pay your rent online, enter a maintenance service request, browse our calendar for upcoming activities, and much more!

This is one of the ways we go paper-free—by doing everything online, including rent payments, service requests, applications, and notices. Not only is this more convenient for our residents, but it also eliminates the need for unnecessary paper waste.

In addition to this, we encourage residents to use the water bottle refill station we have on the property. Using a reusable water bottle significantly reduces the waste from plastic water bottles.

We Recycle

Recycling is one of the best ways to make green living a priority. For our part, we have recycling bins in our office, and we encourage all residents to recycle as well. You can recycle items such as plastic bottles and containers, empty cans, paper, and flattened cardboard. However, make sure not to recycle food, liquid, plastic wrap, plastic bags, or cups with wax or plastic coating.

Here in Anaheim, you can take your recycling to the Anaheim Recycling Center . This small change in habit can make a big difference for our planet, so thank you for making an effort to live sustainably.

We’re Excited to Announce Organic Waste Recycling!

Organic waste recycling will be coming soon to our local community, and we can’t wait to participate! This initiative will help keep millions of pounds of food waste out of landfills and turn them into compost and renewable natural gas.  We’ll keep you up to date as this program expands throughout the state.

We want to do everything we can to take care of the environment and prioritize green living. If you are looking for an apartment complex that cares as much about the earth as you do, Stadium House apartments could be the perfect new home for you!
