While you are busy deep cleaning your living space, you will notice a growing stack of items that have become less than necessary in your life. Instead of returning them to shelves, drawers, and closets, consider parting ways with any unwanted clutter. There is an old saying:  “Cleaning up with children around is like shoveling during a blizzard.” As accurate as that may be, getting the family together to help with spring cleaning chores is a valuable annual pastime. While you handle the bigger jobs, don’t be afraid to assign fitting tasks to little helpers so they can share in your pride of a job well done. Sure, you may have to double back to put the finishing touches on their assignments; in the long run, though, you’ll instill them with quality character traits and pride.
